Scott R. Kuhn
 Senior Chief Master-At-Arms, United States Navy Retired

Scott retired from the United States Navy after specializing in the Military Working Dog Program.  As a K-9 Handler, he responded to hundreds of bomb threats without incident, and completed more than 350 explosive missions, supporting three United States Presidents, United States Department of State hosted Middle East Peace Talks, visits by the Emperor of Japan, Nelson Mandela, the Pope, and various high level Foreign Dignitaries. 

His technical knowledge led to various assignments ranging from Explosive Dog Handler, Regional Kennel Master, Senior Mission Supervisor, General Training Instructor, Curriculum Developer, and Senior K9 Specialist assigned to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. 

Scott has in-depth experience training for forward deployed operations, point and perimeter protection, tracking in urban environments, and navigational tracking in arid terrain with minimal landmarks.  His experience with K9 disciplines along with a passion for tactical mantracking is a welcomed asset to the TTTS Cadre.

Currently employed as a sworn law enforcement officer with a North Carolina municipal agency, Scott has successfully completed Tactical Man tracking for Law Enforcement Levels 1-3, Rural Surveillance for Law Enforcement, and Land Navigation / Orienteering and Woodland Operations.  Scott is currently working on completing 600 training hours towards full certification as a General Instructor with TTTS.
